When you say “hey siri, whose phone is this” your iPhone will display your information (if you have it typed in the phone) and disable facial recognition on the phone until you type in your passcode. This can be useful in situations where someone is trying to access the information in your phone without your consent.

Edit: the phone has to be on the lock screen or the screen must be off for this to work correctly.
