Consiglio: For those in school, get to know your teachers and be up front with them. Most teachers will be more lenient and understanding when they know who you are and don’t feel like they are being manipulated.

Pre/post pandemic spend time after class and have questions ready. Make sure they know your face. During this pandemic, write emails so they have a name to associate things with. It goes a long way and many times professors are more lenient (even with grading) if they actually know the person.
