USMC Boot Camp we did the reaper hike on my 19th birthday.
For those of you who don’t know, the reaper hike is a 12 mile hike wearing full gear, through the mountains of southern California.
nb4 yes it was in fact uphill both ways.
18th. All my friends had graduated the year before and I spent the day alone.
I threw a party for my 18th birthday, invited a couple dozen people. 1 person came.
granted I did it semi last minute (decided to have the party 2 weeks before) but it was still depressing
I had a birthday the day of the Fundamentals of Engineering exam. It basically takes all day and all my friends took it as well. No one wants to do anything afterwards so no celebration or party or cake or anything for me.
The next year I was at officer candidate school to join the Navy. Obviously I didn’t get to celebrate that year either.
So my worst 2 in a row.
