It seems like everyone has a Robinhood account, but few people know how to value a company. Tesla is a great example of this.
Teslas PE(Price to earnings) ratio is 1,078… The company trades at 1,078 x their actual earnings.
To put into perspective how insane that number is, The average P/E for the S&P 500(An index that includes all major companies) has historically ranged from 13 to 15. People keep buying it because its a ‘brand name CEO,’ and they don’t want to miss out on the next amazon.
Tesla market cap is 389 Billion, Fords market cap is 26.24B. Tesla has the highest market cap, by far, of any other vehicle manufacturer.

Fidget Spinners, they had a purpose for people with specific disabilities, but do to becoming a fad those same people started getting them taken away.
Used to be we’d post interesting, conversation worthy material that was upvoted or downvoted based on merit and the ability to generate discussion.
Now it’s mostly the opposite. Post something banal that the hive mind can consume within 5 seconds, forget about, and move on from.
