Depends. During the week I have roughly 6-7 hours of work every day. Usually about an hour of that is spent doing random small jobs like paper work and email. And an hour is spent actually do things, writing specs, and working on projects. And about 4 hours of meetings. I get up right before my meeting and make toast then call in and work and such. Then when my last meeting is up I close my laptop and watch TV or go for a walk. On the weekend I mostly smoke weed with my neighbor and sit outside. Just bought a grill so lots of grilling right now
I live in downtown Montreal so with almost everything closed my options for going out are buying food or taking a walk. Haven’t had a real irl conversation in over two months.
I pretty much wake up and try to get some work done on my own personal projects (my job is shut down for now)
Podcasts have done a lot to keep me sane, I have a few people I can message and voice chat with at least.
Hardest part honestly is trying to stick to my diet or get out of my own head, with very little outside stimulus it’s easy to over eat or get some pretty strong fomo.
Wake up at whatever o’clock and read. Cook something at another o’clock and eat it. Go for a bike ride or not. Go for a walk or not. Putter around until next feeding time. Decide I cant be bothered doing whatever task I had decided to put off doing yesterday. Call family. Putter around. Feed the cat. Sleep.
But hey, once per week we do a shop for the family members we are shielding so that’s fun and exciting.
Persona 5 Royal and depression
Wake up to the alarm. Cook breakfast, usually consisting of 2 eggs per person, toast, and fruit, for 4. Prep whiteboards for the kids school day. Run 30 minutes on the elliptical. Shower, and dress. Get the kids started on their Zoom calls and daily assignments, and then tag my wife in to take over the school supervision. First meeting of the day. Meetings and work for the next 8-10 hours with breaks where I check in on school progress and have a family lunch with everyone prepared by my wife. Around 3 or 4 depending on my work schedule I start prepping dinner. 5pm I cook dinner and we eat together, and I then either relax with everyone or 1-2x a week I go back for a late meeting. Family walk/ride around the neighborhood. Kids shower and get ready for bed. 30 minutes of bedtime stories read by me, and then the kids go to bed around 8-8: 30 and can read until 9. Do dishes, take out trash, do bills, etc. If my wife is still awake we will watch an episode of whatever show we are watching together before going to bed; if she fell asleep already, I’ll watch something solo or play a video game for half an hour to an hour. The sleep, and repeat.
