For most of it: Get up at 7am,coffee,attend online class, wake up my kids, work on my assignments while they eat breakfast, get them started on their school work. Spend the morning and afternoon on school and helping my kids with theirs until around 2pm. Then clean up the house, watch TV, play video games. Make dinner. Try to talk to my husband a bit before he leaves for work at 6pm, since he works night shift. Get the kids to bed by 9pm. Listen to music/watch tv/do more school before bed.
Peppa Pig, Octonauts, Bluey, repeat.
Like, I’m so grateful for them entertaining my kids, but I also never want to hear them again. Which is unrealistic.
I’m also in constant pain because I gave birth in January and I have no opportunity of time away from the kids, so there’s no exercise happening.
But my partner is luckily working so I need to be nutso bored, in pain and happy and grateful at the same time.
Wake up between 7-8, shower, eat breakfast. Watch news while redditing or playing on Sporcle. Eat lunch, watch 12pm news, watch my favorite show at 1, fall asleep sometime between 1: 30-3: 00, wake up around 3 and watch YouTube, eat dinner at 5, watch evening news, watch YouTube at 7, watch tv at 8 (today it will be America’s Got Talent). Go to bed at 11pm.
Sometimes my morning or afternoon will include school work.
Since I work in a manufactured-products factory, I have two types of days.
When I have to work: I wake up around 4 PM, take a shower and set “lunch” of a few random things (usually lunchables or ramen), get to work at 5: 30 PM, nap until 6: 30 PM when I clock in, perform my shift, leave a little bit after 7 AM. Get home, have a wine-cooler or hard cider, and get to sleep by about noon to repeat the process.
When I don’t have to work: don’t set an alarm, so I wake up whenever. If early enough, I go rollerblading around a local parkway. If somewhat early enough, I hit Walmart or Wegmans to restock lunches and energy drinks. If too late, Youtube and Netflix until I sleep.
Same as a regular day, except wearing a mask and sanitizing everything. Still redditing at work too.
Essential worker checking in.
Also most of my workday is now related to the ‘Rona. A few coworkers have tested positive since then too
