Don’t give more information than necessary. Don’t explain why you’re late, just thank them for their patience and move on.
That said, thank before apologizing, always. Gratitude makes people more comfortable than navigating sorries.
Don’t blast your music and other audio in public – wear earphones and keep it private.
Don’t fart in elevators
If someone says something that makes you angry, assume you misheard or misread them and then ask them to clarify themselves. The last thing you should do is rush to judgement. If you’re going to get mad, get mad because you’ve got enough information to get mad.
If I’m on my phone, don’t peek over my shoulder to see what’s on my screen. I thought only kids would do that but evidently not
