When I don’t want to be friend with someone, I just sneak into their house at night and eat all the cheese from their fridge.
Oh, the usual for anyone who wants to break-up but is too much of a coward to actually do it so they make you do the dirty work.
The start being generally rude and inconsiderate, maybe with some passive-aggressive comments and backhanded compliments that make you feel shitty. They’ll start to run hot and cold.
When you call them on it, they either say it’s on you (you’re too sensitive, you are making things up, you’re not being supportive when they are down, etc) or they come up with some bullshit excuse about being stressed or tired or something like that.
Slow to reply to texts or just not responding
It’s up to you to assess the person as you should have a good understanding of who they are and how they are.
Just because they don’t initiate doesn’t mean they don’t ant to be friends there are many situations why one wouldn’t initiate.
They send you a message in all caps saying “I hate you, stop talking to me, fucking poser”.
