Clicking on the link you are presented with a picture of someone who looks quite like yourself.
“Haha, wow, that’s weird” you think. You click refresh and get… Another picture of yourself. Refresh. And another. Refresh. Another.
You refresh again, officially creeped out now. The new picture, to your relief, doesn’t look like you. Then you notice that the background looks like your old bedroom, from the house you grew up in, and you realize that it IS you, but younger. A photo from when you were a child?
Refresh.
This time it’s clearly you, again, from your high school graduation. Your bored expression is too familiar.
You know you could quit at any time, but you find that you are compelled to keep clicking. The next picture is you on holiday last year, when you got that awful haircut from the guy who only spoke Greek.
The one after that is from college, followed by one of a toddler. You click refresh, and then frantically click again so that you don’t have to look at the face of the old man you don’t want to think too hard about.
Clicking again, you feel like you’re looking in a mirror… But the face on the screen has clearly been in a fight. Blood trickles down from it’s nose. Bringing up a hand to your own face…
Eh, I got bored with this. Anyway, the guy is found dead the next day, apparently beaten to death. On his computer screen is a picture of himself grinning.
