My imagination is better
I used to watch it with an old BF in the 70s and 80s. It took a while but pretty soon I noticed a parade of beautiful, very young women were paired with the same few guys. I began to wonder why this was and then I did a little investigative work. I came to the conclusion that each of those beautiful young women didn’t say to themselves “When I grow up I’m gonna be a porn star and degrade myself for the sexual perversion/entertainment of others!”. Once you learn how these women are funneled in to the business, drugged, pimped, paid poorly or not at all and often live in subhuman conditions, the allure of porn starts to wear off. Now I just see someone’s daughter, sister, aunt, mother being repeatedly raped. I can’t watch that anymore….
Porn isn’t sexy. It’s mechanical, boring and the woman always gets jizzed in the face at the end. I find that repulsive. Watching or reading erotica is more sensual. The lead up and sexualized banter back and forth between two people is a way better turn on. The sexual act itself tends to be short, it’s all the other things that accompany it that is sexy.
