Speaking from someone who was a former addict, I think it damages your worldview and harms your relationships with others.
Indulging the more lustful thoughts will make them more prominent and difficult to control, until it damages how you see other people. You begin, whether you notice it or not, judging people by how attractive they are and viewing them as objects. Relationships will become worse if you only care about viewing your partner as something to have sex with.
It is natural to feel attraction to others or to have lustful urges, but constantly indulging them is a deep rabbit hole that is hard to get out of.
Since going clean I feel like my relationships with people are a lot more genuine and I feel more present in my surroundings.
Too much “biology shots” is gross – the visual of a penis entering a vagina is not sexy, most visuals of squelching body parts are not sexy. Sex often looks painful for the woman in porn, that’s not sexy. Super exaggerated jackhammering while the woman fake screams, not sexy, and then randomly yanks out to ejaculate, not sexy. The people don’t seem into it, not sexy. Demeaning language, not sexy. Giant fake boobs, not sexy. Watching a man ejaculate, not sexy. Overlarge penises, not sexy (ouch!)
