Live alone. Travel alone. Don’t carry credit card debt. Say no to friends. Have fun.

Get rid of or recognize toxic people in your life. Don’t let them continue to bring you down.
Move up from your parents basement into the actually house.
Get over everything. Take a step back from caring about every little thing and get better at “going-with-the-flow” When people hit 30 (or 31 which is even harder) life might not be going as planned and 30 is a time when we think our lives will fall in place. Sometimes they do and sometimes they don’t. Learn to be grateful for everything and enjoy the ride. Don’t get discouraged if life takes you in an unexpected direction. Hope for the best and plan for the worst.
