There is a short story by Etgar Keret called Surprise Egg you would probably like OP if this interests you
I saved it when I first saw it too.. We need autopsy doctors here!!
In my training days as a coroner around 1997, we had a strange case of a 72 year old male who passed unexpectedly. We got to work and upon opening the chest cavity, we found 43 uncut diamonds which we later learned were worth £36m. Following an investigation we were told he was part of a Ukranian diamond smuggling ring. There was only two ways that he could have gotten the diamonds into his lungs; 1 – surgery but found zero scarring to indicate this or 2 – he literally snorted them via his nasal cavity. Naturally, this is completely fabricated. Have a lovely evening sugarplum.
Not a doctor, but I have dissected a human corpse before.
