A lot of times, jobs like garbage man, janitor, or construction worker are used as examples of where you “don’t want to end up”, but they are actually contributing to society. What jobs really are the useless ones?

Those jobs actually pay decent and typically have good benefits. They just have a lower ceiling.

Fast food workers would be something I recommend avoiding. Robots gonna take that over in the next 20 years; order online or at touch screen, food made in an assembly line and slid down the shoot. They will only need maintenance staff soon enough.

Edit: Amy’s Organics (the frozen food and soup co) literally took their production line equipment and downsized it to make food at their flagship fast food in California. They have employees there, but mostly because they are good people who WANT to create well paying jobs.

For me the most bottom of the barrel job is the people who enforce content rights for disney.
