You can check with women’s organizations, there should be non profit organizations who can help in these situations. They usually rescue the girls from such places and then place them with some self help type of jobs.
I’m sure there must be some other reason that they are forcing her to marry. If they haven’t checked with any other rishtas then how come they can conclude he is the only best rishta they can ever get. There’s certainly something fishy here.
Because you mentioned A-levels I am assuming you are in the UK. Google “forced marriage”. It is a crime for her parents to do this. There are government websites that will give you and your friend information on how to deal with this situation and organisations that you can contact. You know that Pakistan is a shit country. I say this as someone who has citizenship there, too. So don’t look into weird women’s groups and the like. She’s safest at home.
