My posts/comments only make people go “what the funky is wrong with this person” I would assume.
I’d say it depends mostly on what that post is. I mean, I’ve gotten tens of thousands of upvotes from posts on places like r/todayilearned, but honestly getting a couple hundred upvotes on a small sub like r/comicstriphistory makes me happier. Why? Because I really enjoy old comic strips, and seeing other people enjoy them as well makes me happy, even if there are less people commenting on and seeing it than there would be on a larger sub.
Basically, it’s less about people just being interested in my post than it is about how much I personally care about what I’m posting. I like seeing people enjoy stuff that I’m also really interested in.
It’s my main source of serotonin, yes
I like when people respond to my comments. Its trendy to crap on MassimoL for being an echo chamber, hive minded, etc… but really its just superficial. It doesn’t take any effort to find intelligent and passionate people with opinions beyond the standard parroting circlejerk.
No. I only feel pain.
