Questa volta abbiamo cercato una domanda rivolta alle donne. What habits/changes/investments did you do in your late 20s to make your 30s easier and successful?
Ed ecco le risposte del genere femminile:
Start using moisturizer, I hope it pays off
Stop buying unnecessary things thoughtlessly. I will tell myself to wait a week and if I still want it, get it. Most of the time, I forget about it. And if I really still want it, I will try to find it at a thrift store for super cheap first.
Fitness and eating healthy! Maintaining a health weight and level of fitness is much easier than constantly having to get back into shape.
Having a consistent workout routine and eating healthy. Makes a world of a difference in your 30s compared to the people who didn’t.
I got my finances in order. Paid off all my debt (around $14K), started an emergency fund which is now a full-fledged grownup savings account, started couponing, and stopped buying unnecessary things (I still treat myself, within reason).
Getting your financial situation together is seriously one of the best things you can do for yourself. I’m in my mid-30’s now, and most of my friends are constantly frazzled about enormous mounds of debts and potential emergencies. I’m not wealthy by any means, but if I want to go on vacation? Not a problem. If I need a new tire, not a problem. When we had a surprise pregnancy and I wanted to take the full FMLA unpaid leave? Not a problem.
Seriously, financial freedom IS freedom. Do whatever you need to do now to get to a comfortable place financially. I promise you won’t regret it.
