If your partner proposed right now, would you say yes or no? Why or why not ?

A second wedding seems over the top.

I would say yes, because I am planning on spending my life with my partner.

No, we’re not in the best place right now. A lot of work needs to be done for both of us to feel confident enough to get married, maybe we’ll get there one day, maybe we won’t.

Disabled people can’t legally get married or they risk losing health insurance and financial assistance even if you couldn’t afford it with your husband’s help

So I’d have to say no. No choice for me.

He already proposed this spring, and I happily said yes. Lately though I have been having doubts. We are in a bit of a rough patch, and I’m not sure if this is how I want to spend the rest of my life. It hurts to admit that.

I’d say not yet. I’m still very young and don’t feel ready for that. Also we’ve got some issues to work through before I’d feel comfortable with proposals

Yes, I love him and want to spend the rest of my life with him. Though we wouldn’t be able to have a wedding just yet due to the finances.

I’d probably say let’s wait dude. We’ve been famously off and on for the last couple of years and there’s just no sense of security with him. It would seem foolish to say yes to him right now even if things have gone well for an entire week.

I would say no, fortunately this kind of thing is usually discussed/hinted at first! We’ve been together forever but moving in together for the first time in a couple weeks. One big change at a time… I believe we need to live together first to see if we’re really right for each other in the day to day.

Yes, because I am crazy for him and finally ready for it. I am also immensely grateful for his patience and for waiting until I’m ready.
