Not going outside for long periods of time
Gmail (I’m old)
The Umbrella Academy. I’m a huge MCR fan and got into it back in 2008-ish when I found out Gerard Way wrote comics. I still have the floppies for The Apocalypse Suite.
I had a doge before the meme.
Back in 1999, I’d just become a new homeowner and we were looking to adopt a dog. One of my future ex-wife’s co-workers was an apartment manager, and someone had abandoned this dog at their complex when they’d moved out.
I mean, who the fuck just leaves their dog when they move out?
Anyway, we adopted the little brown thing, and my daughter named her after her favorite Spice Girl. We took Ginger to the vet, and they had no idea what she was. After doing some research they told us that she was mostly a “Shiba Inu.” A scrappy little Japanese breed that was like cat software running on dog hardware.
Then there was the puppy cam on You Tube and I was like “yeah, they’re cute, but…” and then came the meme and I was like “yeah, don’t get one just because of the meme.”
I learned the hard way that a doge is advanced dog-ownership. Much pain in the ass. So stubborn.
Anyway, Ginger was my constant companion for 17 years.
Germaphobia.
